Over the past couple of weeks I've steadily begun to feel extremely "in touch" with the world and everything and everyone around me. I get this overwhelming sense of joy, just passing a small village in the car can set it off. I can't help but smile. This is a great feeling but other things have begun to happen since initially feeling so happy. I can't keep still. Typing this is difficult as my brain's working faster than my hands and I have to constantly delete and re-type. When I'm with people I have to be quiet though I really want to just yell about anything and everything. I've been going to sleep later and later (or earlier and earlier depending on how you look at it) since it all began. Right now, in the UK it's 5:15am and I'm not feeling any lull of tiredness at all! I've read certain signs and symptoms of mania and bipolar disorder and I even did the Goldberg questionaire. The results told me I'm severely manic. It's not a one off. It happens frequently and has done since I was about seventeen. The bright weather has made it all surface again and though I'm enjoying it now I know I'll regret staying awake and rushing around like a lunatic. All I'm asking is does this sound like mania?
